Senior iOS Developer

Job Description: Redbytes is seeking an iOS expert to work with a team of engineers to design and develop iOS apps for devices powered by Apple’s operating system. The professional must be able to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines with both local and offshore developers. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced apps for iOS
• Collaborate with project teams to design, and enable new mobile app features
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Improve app performance and work on bug fixing
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies to maximize

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Objective C, CocoaBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 4+ years of experience in a combination of Objective C, iOS, Xcode software application development
• Design and build advanced app features for iOS
• Use solid, customized object oriented design plans
• Closely work with the UX team to incorporate the entire app architecture to the coding and development process.
• Hands on experience with HTML5, CSS, XML, API
• Knowledge of Apple’s Xcode IDE
• Should be familiar with iOS 10 and newer OS versions
• Experience on Mac platforms
• Good understanding of the development process, testing and knowledge on App Store publishing guidelines.
• A passion and ability to learn new trends, concepts quickly
• Experience of working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Should have published at least one or more iOS apps in the app store

Would be a plus:

• Know about 2D & 3D graphics like Spritekit and Scenekit
• Knowledge of the iOS app development tools and code versioning tools (Git, Mercurial or SVN)
• A portfolio of any of the iOS/Android apps in the Play Store/App store
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
