Paul Graham says ‘Relationship of co-founders goes from friendship to marriage’.
After reading this paragraph in this post I thought about the raised point, very deeply. Actually then this thought came into my mind or say I figured out that startup teams are simply just like families. There is a very strong correlation in both of them.
The ‘Family’ Approach to understand the Startup Team
What is required for a family to be happy & prosperous?
The head couple of the family (parents) must share a very strong, warm relationship which should have faith, loyalty, and deep understanding of each other. Otherwise there are chances of their break-up and then there is no family.
- The founders of any startup must have them same. If the founders do not share a relationship like a married couple there are chances of their break-up and hence breaking the startup too.
