Hiring & retaining talent is really a big challenge/pain for startups. And if asked the most standard answer to that is they leave us either for more pay or for brand name.

Let’s try to understand this problem by working it backward approach.

Who are the people who come and join startups? Answer to this questions is: generally they are one from two type, one those who want to work with startups & understand the prons & cons of it or second those who are not getting job anywhere (major part). The second type of people comes with a mentality to work for the time till they get a break into some big company or whatever they have in their minds.
